DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO!!!!! The conclusions which can be drawn will ruin Halo for you!!!!. . . . . Spoiler . . . . If this guy is in a museum and is that old and is talking about his experience with Master Chief and crying, two conclusions can be drawn 1. The war is over the rings were not activated and humanity is still in existence years after the events in Halo 3 and/or 2. Master Chief is dead OMG im sooo upset i watched that!!!!
lol I got none of that but than again I was kinda bored with this and was not paying full attention...
To be honest, I think you did more spoiling than the video did.
Sorry, but im a big Halo fan and this what I gathered from watching this video.
ok, relax. First of all, it's pretty obvious that Humanity wins the war, how many scifi stories end in the aliens being victorious and Humanity perishing? The real question is HOW do we win. Also, the video DOES NOT necessarily imply MC is dead. He didn't necessarily have to have died at the end of Halo 3 either. This is an old man, reminiscing about the war, speaking of his impressions of Master Chief in battle. He would use past tense, and he's crying because it was traumatic. Even if Master Chief did die, and that's a big if, he might have died of old age for all we know. So you're jumping to conclusions, this video doesn't spoil anything.
I think you´re right, Daewoodrow. Maybe our John died of age. Because this must be a long time after this guy was revealed from duty. And that was year 2581. And Master Chief was born around 2511 or sooner. So, you can do the math. Or maybe John is still alive, who knows?
I'm just wondering about how it talks about the grenade. The guy giving the "interview" asks where he was when Master Chief had the grenade, like it was a very important moment in a very important battle. He also says it like it might be THE most important part of the war, what could he have done with that grenade? Maybe he forgot to throw it, lol, just kidding.
Yea I was wondering the same thing. I've got a feeling that it's a hint at a key part of the story. Maybe the ending? Or maybe just the climax of a big battle within the game. Chief picks up the grenade...Believe.
