Lara Croft has certainly underwent some drastic, more realistic changes for her next Tomb Raider reboot, but her look isn't the only thing that has changed.
Really looking forward to seeing how this game turns out. It has been a while since I played a Tomb Raider game.
Yes, I am so anxious! :D Expecting great things, though. A reboot was definitely in order. :)
Yeah, Tomb Raider has been around long enough that a reboot is a good move. Hopefully it lives up to expectations and the story is good. I don’t think it will outdo Uncharted for story though, but it should still be a fun game to play, especially after that last game, Guardian of Light, impressed people so much.
They cant get rid of Keeley Hawes! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
I'm actually very excited about a new voice actress. Keeley was nice, but I prefer a more tougher voice for Lara.
Good point. Uncharted certainly has an excellent story. We'll see what Tomb Raider can do. Sounds very interesting thus far though.
You brought up Uncharted for absolutely no reason. Are you feeling insecure?
If you used your eyes then you would see that the reply above him had me tined uncharted first. Thus the "good point" he just didn't reply to the other post, that is why he mentioned uncharted.
Well since they are in the same genre, have similar gameplay, of course comparisons will be made. That's like saying someone can't compare Killzone to Halo. BTW That 'he' is a she lol.
More like Rainbow Six and Unreal.. As much as Killzone and Halo are different games, they're both shooters, TR and Uncharted are diametrically opposite, One is a tps with simplistic puzzles/platfroming to break up the pace, the other is a heavily platforming/riddles oriented game with a couple of foes appearing here and there. The way characters move is a generic 3d way of controlling them, it's been used since PoP Sands of Time. The action adventire genre has quite a few sub ones, each offering a distinctive type of gameplay.
People bring up Uncharted because it's the "Crysis" of this genre. It's their way of saying, "Thats nice, but..." It's the same thing in every Killzone 3 article. Great graphics, "yeah but...Crysis". Annoying but nothing to be upset about. It's a good thing, because something is threatening the industry benchmark.
She shouldn't feel insecure. They are different Games. But whatever, everyone has their own opinion.
Im willing to bet you haven't beat any uncharted game; lol!
I thought this was obvious? and not really news. oh wait, it's examiner.com.
At least Lara is still the same gender for the reboot; unlike Mr/Mrs/? Dante.
Would be scary if they changed the gender of Lara Croft http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_a...
That pic is a crime against humanity :|
My babe detector was going crazy until i (eventually) looked up at the face. I'll be having nightmares tonight.
EWWWWWWW IS THAT MR.BEAN?????
Looking forward to this but I dunno if a change of voice actor is a good plan. It's been a long time since I felt the tomb raider magic on PS1. it's never really held onto that for me on PS2/3 and uncharted is MASSIVE competition for the series as a whole now so we shall see in time.
Dot from eastenders would be perfect to voice Lara Croft.
kiera knightly she has a young posh voice, or ....sue pollard?
Wow, complete revamp of the serious, liking it so far.
I guess revamped really means REVAMPED. Everything is right.
They change voice actress to an actor to better fit new face of the character.
I vote Nolan North, he's good in everything. :P
yawn how could they be insecure mentioning uncharted as a comparison some people are so slow witted but o well -_- i never liked tomb raider to be honest uncharted just blows it away im sorry
Im really excited to see what their gonna do; my most hyped 3rd part game of 2011; (right next to MK) Lets do it!
Over Uncharted 3?
When they said reboot they meant it in every way. This should be interesting. I am very anxious to play this. I certainly hope it turns out to be nothing short of awesome.
