Another day, another "Countdown to 2011" deal, and it turns out that with our initial guess, we're 3 for 3. Again, like yesterday, there is a difference between which region gets what movie, but I have a feeling that the Xbox Live Arcade game and the Avatar prop is all most people will be bothered about. So yes, today's XBLA game is none other than Castlevania Harmony of Despair and the Avatar item is a Rock Band keyboard.
Sure, there was online gaming back in the day but the modern age of online video gaming began almost twenty years ago with Xbox Live 1.0.
"We may take digital downloads on console for granted nowadays but let's go back to when they became popularised and decide which platform offered the superior service." - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums
Vote for either Xbox Live Arcade or PlayStation Store at the bottom of the article! 🎮😄
Video created for comedic purposes only. Press2Reset fully supports hardworking Indie developers. In fact, for a fun experience on the XBLA Indie Game Marketplace, we recommend you check out I MAED A GAM3 W1TH ZOMB1ES!!!1, Dead Pixels, and Cthulu Saves the World. All are wonderful XBLA Indie Games.
I try really hard to play XBLA Indie games, but they need better ways of promoting the good ones.
Love the indie games, cheap and full of ideas.
MS should reward the games by giving the devs money to make a full fledged xbl arcade title remake.
I find that indie games are generally just not very good. Although, maybe if they got more promotion, more talented developers would move to the platform.
Just bought Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, could not turn it down at 600 MSP, bought Lara Croft: Guardian of Light yesterday for 600 too, 1200 MSP saved in 24 hours, good times... good times indeed :-)
Well then let the good times roll because i'm pretty sure there's more to come... like tomorrow!
