NEver been a fan of these games.

I would have to agree with that. I personally don't see why it's much of an investment.

Only that it is the largest and longest scale game in the entire world. It's been 6 years and the game is still bigger then it ever was. Why? Because the people are Blizzard are geniuses.

Can't wait for Diablo 3 and their new IP to be announced somewhere in 2012 probably.

I would not say they are geniuses, but they are committed to holding onto games until they are finished. They also are religious about game design and balancing.

I love wow, I dont play it anymore but when it was released i fell in love and played for many years, but it wasn't something new, it was pretty much a copy of everquest but done much much better. Blizzard devs admit it themselves (quite humbly), if it were not for everquest wow would never have come along.

WoW is good times, and Cataclysm takes it to the next level. If you haven't tried it, you should. And if you've tried it and don't like it, then at least you gave it a shot. 12 million people can't be wrong.
