E4G: Gameplay of a user created Back to the Future level in LittleBigPlanet 2.
With LBP2, it really feels like we're living in the future.
This is the future.
Uh... wtf. Flux capacitor? Best game ever confirmed.
Where were going, we don't need Sackroads
iam gonna build lbp with lbp2... edited: ok that doesn't make any sense
lbp is the videogame era of what lego blocks where when they came out. a player and makers playground create play and share
this is some bad azz stuff rite here, I am ready for LBP2 in the worst way!!!!!
you should see the level called Sony vs Marvel vs Capcom. It is a fighting game and it's AMAZING http://www.youtube.com/watc...
lol he even added blood to this. LBP 2 Instant Classic
omg,i rly didn't tought that this game gonna have unlimited options, this is awesome
Again the concept is cool but the backgrounds are a bit basic to say the least. Hopefully this level will be fleshed out a bit more and Travelers Tales Back to the Future game will be good.
Cockpit View Confirmed= AAA Title :P This is a simple beta level man, it's basic, but don't you worry about what can be added. Most of these levels seem to be experimental, I can understand how much effort it must take to put so much work into making something like an RPG
agreed. i'm in awe of these guys/gals. i'd be proud to be a father of any one of them.
people really need to understand that these are just experiments... yes i know i said that in the other thread too, but it can't be stressed enough. if people watch some official levels from MM and then remember that the community actually made levels 'better' than MM, then you can imagine where LBP2 can go. with more time, more assets, good camera work and a well structured backdrop, this particular experiment could become incredible. imagine a futuristic level and then going back in time to early victorianna. it doesn't all have to be car based gameplay.
So basically you are able to recreate any game in this game. Cool.
i think a better way of putting it is: 'so this game can make a homage to any game. Cool' children should be actively encouraged to play/create/share with this game. it's the first time i've ever seen a game that 'increases' your intelligence and doesn't 'diminish' it
"it's the first time i've ever seen a game that 'increases' your intelligence and doesn't 'diminish' it " then your gaming experience must be limited to this generation. I'd love to hear a "new" gamer's reaction to playing...say Baldur's Gate 2. "WTF I HAVE TO READ WTF I JUST KILLED MY ENTIRE PARTY BY USING A SPELL WTF WHY IS THAT DEMON I SUMMONED EATING ME WTF THIS GAME SUX"
That was hilarious... and had I actually played Bulder's Gate 2, I would probably be RingOFL! Inside jokes that are still funny from the outside, FTW!!!
i iz going to make killzone 3 ! :D
These new videos are just the tip of the ice-burg for the creative community in LBP2. I can't wait to see what I can do with this game!
lol good stuff, but i dont need to play set pieces anymore i got enough of those in lbp1. im more intrested in new types of games nnot continually running to the left and seeing redesigns of movies with no game play elements, thats what was wrong with lbp1 everyone tried to make a movie game. no puzzles no bad guys just run to the left and have random quotes. i want to like the idea of lbp2 but lbp1 let me down, and this is coming from a guy with 4 levels created with over 30 hours per level plus some mess around ones so i gave it a good run.
Are you people blind by choice? If this game were to be released as even freeware on a free gaming website you all would hate it. If it were released as a PSN mini you'd hate it. If it were released as a PSN game you'd hate it. It'd be panned and it'd be deemed terrible. All of these minigames built inside LBP are of the same quality too. They lack depth. They lack anything fundamentally sound and are all void of holding your attention. Ask yourself, if these games, more over the one above, were released as a full game with 5 to 10 hours of gameplay in it, would you buy it? NO! You wouldn't. Stop praising things that are obviously so flawed because you like the platform it's on. I can create some pretty trippy stuff using Toonboom studio pro -- But I certainly wouldn't deem it praise worthy or show worthy. Just because you can create something doesn't mean it's good. Remember that.
@Balt thank god someone else sees this is crap
Are you kidding me? The level of detail and the awesome art design made the first LBP a great experience, not even considering the MP options. It's fine if you don't like this kind of game, I feel the same way about hack n slash games. Please don't say, though, that this game lacks depth. These user created levels are simply thrown together ideas created on a BETA. I still play the single player from the first game and each time I find something new I missed. My kid worships LBP and even my grown friends who are die hard 360 fanboys come over and are all, "hey, let me see the controller..." So, you have your opinion but please know you are in the minority.
Yes, but... WE ARE NOT BUYING IT!!!! For free, it is flipping awesome! You must have missed the part where you get to play/create mini-games for FREE!!!! FFFRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEE!!!!!!!!!
U so mad bro
SONY FTMFW !
Oh, no they didn't!... ^_^
This stuff is awesome. I love games that thrive on user created content. It gives the game near endless replay value.
You just gotta love LBP and the minds that come up with this and the many other great ideas. I wish I was that creative or at least had the time to be. I just don't have the patients, it's why I never become a Doctor. ;-P Can't wait for LBP2!
This is cool! :D
When this baby hits fw 3.60 your gonna see some serious shit!
(talking about the level) looks cool but could use a bit more mork
the flux capacitor is in the back of the car, not up front on the dash. for the retard who gave me thumbs down. http://www.thegreenhead.com...
