Nintendo Wii, Sony Playstation and XBox 360: unwrap the gift of fitness

Telegraph: Many of the top-selling fitness games were initially exclusive to the Nintendo Wii, as it was the only console with a gesture-recognising, hand-held controller. But, with the recent release of Move, the new motion-sensitive controller for the PlayStation 3, and the Xbox 360’s Kinect technology – which dispenses with a control altogether by using a camera to track a player’s movement – fitness games on other platforms are evolving to become more immersive and involve full-body play. (Dance Central, EA Sports Active 2.0, Get Fit With Mel B, Kinect, Playstation Move, PS3, SingStar: Dance, The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout, Wii, Wii Fit Plus, Xbox 360, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved)
