Sony's support website has just recently updated its backwards compatibility status check for the PlayStation 3. The search engine goes in detail to describe any major or minor problems in running any PlayStation game. Users are able to check on how the game will run on either the 60GB or 80GB version of the PS3, the latter of which uses software emulation, which worried gamers who thought fewer titles would play on the newer systems. Many glitches found in the newer emulation have been ironed out before the site was updated, but we've still found a few games that don't work quite as well on the 80 Gig model.
