Lens of Truth - Head2Head: Enslaved - Odyssey to the West Analysis

Lens of Truth writes "Welcome back for this weeks Head2Head with Enslaved: Odyssey to the West for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Last month we had our hands full with a slew of AAA titles released within weeks or days from one another, consequently Enslaved kinda got thrown under the rug for a bit. Fortunately, our fans are always on the ball and insisted we revisit this Head2Head, and of course we listened. So now that our analysis of Enslaved is finished, which version escapes this weeks Head2Head a free man. Keep reading on to find out!"

Wow the PS3 still can't handle the Unreal 3 engine.. Awesome

Otheros002900d ago (Edited 2900d ago )

"We also would like to point out that both versions had the normal texture pop-in problem that plagues most games that use the Unreal 3 engine."

"As seen in our analysis video, its apparent that the PlayStation 3 version suffers from some really horrific screen tearing. Although the Xbox 360 version was far from “tear free”, it was obvious that it had much less screen tearing and performance hitches than the PlayStation 3 build."

Sea_Man2900d ago

Yeah but even Batman had these issues.

Joe Bomb2900d ago

Unreal 3 and PS3 just don't mix.

Blaze9292900d ago

can only imagine how bad Mass Effect 2 will turn out on the PS3

Blaze9292900d ago

really?...cuz I own a PS3 and a Xbox 360 so I don't really care....

firefoxprime2900d ago

Why...why must we continue to have these troublesome comparisons? Just enjoy your personal console. If you own both, the best to you.

poopface12900d ago

this isnt for you. Its for people who have both ps3 and 360, like me. I like to know what version is better before I spend my money.

If you get butthurt by these comparisons, dont look at them. They are NOT FOR single console owners and fanboys anyways.

firefoxprime2900d ago (Edited 2900d ago )

Let's not jump conclusion here. I see where you're coming from though. Gotta strech that dollar. I own neither ps3 or 360. I still have my dslite/ps2, but I'm a lil to busy(church, school, work, fam) to enjoy gaming at this point. Not to say I won't pick up a ps3 later down the road. I'm not a huge online player, so I'm not missing out on anything. I'll stock up on the ps3 games I've been keeping tabs on over the years, and i'll get'em used at gamestop. But that's just me. I know I definetly won't be using this plan for the 3DSPSP2 *smirks*

I'm honestly surprised the lack of desire I have for this generation. Maybe because its not a simple as before; media content intertwins now. I like shooters, but I think I believe the market is a bit oversaturated with all these AAA titles. Most ppl don't care, and devs wont stray to far from a (perfect?) formula.

Its cool your using the comparisons to make a resposible business decision, but most gamers just complain, and brag about said multiplat version.

I loved this game, got it for the 360.

Soul Train2900d ago (Edited 2900d ago )

Picked up the 360 version from amazon for $35.00 a few weeks ago, 100% worth it.

Edit: I mean $25.00, even better!

ArthurLee2900d ago

Yeah at $25.00 this game is completly worth it. IMO it was just a little too easy but still very fun.

Sea_Man2900d ago

25 dollars!! Dang dog I missed out on that!

Headquarters112900d ago

Silly Mammo2900d ago

Got the PS3 version at AMZ for $25. Played it, enjoyed it and then sold it for $23 back to Amazon Used Games department. Cheaper than a rental. :)
