GamerZines writes: Revolution Software has announced that they are currently working on bringing a remastered version of Broken Sword 2: The Smoking Mirror to iPhone and iPad before Christmas, with PC and MAC owners getting the game next year.
I loved the original. Cecil should release it as a download only for the PlayStation Network & Xbox Live, as the Monkey Island Special Editions proved there is a big market for re-jigged graphic adventure games on consoles.
I remember getting that game as a freebie for the PS1, sent by mail (?!), when I was like 5 or 6 years old. I guess that's the first mature game I've played in my life (and first game I've never finished as well). I will never forget how scared I was when I saw the spider D: *BOOKCASE KILL* It's really too bad they aren't doing this on the PS3/Xbox because I'd really like to see how it would be in HD "glory". Edit: Just checked it. "Les chevaliers de baphomet II" (French ftw) *Promo only - Not for resale* Now that's something I'm glad I've kept with me, can't wait to see some of the HD remake screenshots.
I played the original version of BS2 on Steam a few months back, and I thought it was great. I don't really see the need for a remastered version.
Almost on a par with the first game. I wish it was coming out for the PSN, or even the Wii like the first remastered game did. Rats!
Aw yes....even though I have completed both the originals countless times! The first one is much better though, and I love the Directors Cut. This could be interesting though, the second was more action packed but the story was somewhat lacking in comparison to the original. And that reverend and his collar..ugh Zombie Island....
