Successful companies eventually have a brain fart and release a terrible game. Case in point, ngmoco’s Star Wars: Imperial Academy for Apple iOS. The publisher behind such hits as Rolando and GodFinger partnered with THQ Wireless to produce an App that is without question one of the worst we’ve played. The fact that it’s free means you won’t lose anything, aside from precious time.

New Star Wars game coming from THQ for iPhone

THQ and ngmoco have partnered up to develop and co-publish Star Wars Imperial Academy exclusively for iPhone and iPod touch.

Imperial Academy is a multiplayer game built using ngmoco's Eliminate engine. Players take control of a Stormtrooper and compete against other recruits in four-player death-match battles on iconic Star Wars areas such as Hoth, Cloud City and Tatooine.
