Mr. Eskimo, you made my month by leaking that video despite it being crappy quality. It not spoil anything for me, if anything it just got me extremely hyped. I really hope Sony don't come down on you too hard. This leak could not have come at a better time. People will want PlayStation 3's for Xmas now! Though I am sure some site like IGN, GameSpot or Eurogamer is probably really pissed off because they bought the rights to exclusively show this footage. Tell you what though. These kind of leaks do more hype then some planned PR revealings. Kudos to you man. You have my support.

visualb2902d ago

yeah its awesome

I agree with this video =) Eskimo sacrificed himself for us gamers! we should unite and protect him! he did it for US! AREN'T WE HAPPY HE DID IT?!

I guess, but hey, thanks for taking the hit eskimo! keep it up! just don't leak one of the most hyped games coming xD

D4RkNIKON2902d ago

I agree, one of the reasons why I was so hyped for KZ2 was because GG posted TONS of videos, pictures, interviews prior to release. I knew so much about the game and I just wanted nothing more than to get my hands on it! This time around they are keeping everything so locked down, we keep seeing the same damn videos from the same maps and have nothing to excite us. This video was awesome and it got me pumped for KZ3's release!

APOLOGY>??????????????????? ???

Stop. Getting. Hits.

Longrod_Von_Hugendon2902d ago (Edited 2902d ago )

I'm sorry??..... what a pussy, real men don't apologize. I'm not sorry you did it thanks dude! : )

here's the video in question 720p

Red_Orange_Juice2902d ago

You know.. Im starting to think it was planned by Sony as well as this video.

Shikoro2902d ago

I'm kinda thinking the same, although this seems to be very serious. I'm also thankful to him for leaking this footage, but if it's gonna endanger his career as a games journalist, maybe he shouldn't have done it.

Anyway, see you at the battlefield. :)

visualb2902d ago

ThanatosDMC2902d ago

facelike2902d ago

I think the arrow on his shirt should be facing up.

KillerCucumber2902d ago

A little bit unnecessary. The guy is obviously under a lot of fire from Sony. He is giving himself enough strife as it is.

If you watched the video and enjoyed it you should be thanking him. If you thought the leak was stupid off him then you should agree with his statement in this video.

Kitchen_Sink2902d ago

Yeh, takes balls to just come out like that and confess to leaking the video. It sucks that he got in trouble... that video really just got me more excited. As soon as I saw this video I decided to buy a new PS3 so that I can play online with my little brother.

Christopher2902d ago (Edited 2902d ago )

***If you watched the video and enjoyed it you should be thanking him.***

Why should we be thanking him? Because he did something wrong? Because he caused issues for the already delicate PR schedules that others have to maintain and rely upon? Because he said he was sorry for doing something wrong?

I really don't see any reason to thank him, but I do at least respect him a little more than if he hadn't said he was sorry for the leak.

I think a lot of people here need to understand that the underdog who leaks something without permission isn't the good guy fighting the man, he's the guy costing people time and money. Perhaps if people worked in the industry of video game PR and/or Gaming Site ad revenue management, they'd understand it a bit better. No matter what, he did something wrong, and I'm happy he's taking the blame where it is due.

It's going to be hard to have a big reveal after this, which is what the PR rely upon when their game is close to or at release.

*** Can Sony sue him? ***

Not really, but being blacklisted for life is kind of a huge thing for these type of sites. Sony can go so far as to deny them any rights to post official videos and content (including game logos and screenshots; they can still link to them on YouTube and similar sites, though).

gamingdroid2902d ago

"I think a lot of people here need to understand that the underdog who leaks something without permission isn't the good guy fighting the man, he's the guy costing people time and money"

Sometimes that works for you and sometimes it works against you. In this case, it likely worked against Sony.

It's just a reality that every company has to deal with. Is piracy bad? Sure! Are cheaters bad? Sure!

My point being, do I feel sorry for Sony? Nope. It is part of business and Sony likely considered that scenario anyhow. If they were that concerned, they would have kept it under tighter lid.

DigitalAnalog2902d ago (Edited 2902d ago )

There should be an amount of respect when it comes to coverage. Even if it's just for the hits. The company has the right to bring it's own hype by itself. I'd rather GG games reveal this openly as opposed to "leaks". Case-in-point, reaction for TLG at E3 wasn't apparent ever since that "leak".

Because of that, I don't condone this type of behavior - HOWEVER, I'd put up with this rather than the amount of ridiculous flamebait articles plaguing the gaming industry.

-End of Line

FiLTHY ESKiMO2902d ago

It's OK. Insults are welcome. I deserve them after this epic fail. :)

SodoBot2902d ago

@Facelike Being a gay gamer I resent that comment and find it offensive. You are using the term "gay" as it's a negative.

@FiLTHY ESKiMO You don't deserve to be insulted for sharing this with the gamers. I highly respect your for that. All these so called journalists from other sites think they are above the devout gamers because they get to play and experience this stuff. They write about how awesome their experience was and you just plain and simply show us. Gamers and journalists are equals! Actually gamers > journalists. We buy our own friggen games!

Also, you shouldn't consider a gay being an insult.

scar202902d ago

@Filthy Eskimo who knows man maybe this was a good thing for sony it might encourage more people to buy a ps3 just to play this game.I know my friend is cuz he just bak from iraq and he hadn't heard anything about Killzone 3 and as soon as i told him he flipped out lol.

4221852902d ago

Speaking as a Killzone 3 fan THANK YOU for the leak. ;)

rob60212902d ago

It's good knowing about the game, but I don't think it would have mattered to wait a month on the info, it's not like we get to play it anytime soon. I guess now I have an extra month to tell prospective PS3 buyers that KZ3 will have co op. So I don't think too much dmg was done, Guerrilas next showing of the game might be seen as less of a shock to the media with the cat out of the bag. It seems like Sony was planning on starting 2011 with a bang.

karl2902d ago

thx u eskimo =)

u gonna get hell cuz of this.. so, be strong and endure it
i hope you can keep working as a journalist after this is forgotten

and seriously .. thx u.. the snow footage from kz3 was getting really old.. and i was kinda forgetting about the game

you brought it back to life for a another few months now =)

@ facelike:

I didn't even notice the writing on the shirt, but when I did, I wanted to say two things about your comment.

That was extremely rude, really.

I laughed my fanny off.

Now I need to get it repaired.

Godmars2902902d ago

You know, if you really wanted to apologize, you'd be showing the footage in the background.

The snowman thing is cool and all, but just saying...

Convas2902d ago (Edited 2902d ago )

On the one hand ... I'm glad I got to see it. I confirmed my decision to include Killzone 3 in my Collection once I have a PS3. And it got a lot of people pumped up for the game.

But ...

On the other hand, imagine the surprise everyone would've gotten had they not known about this boss. Kind of like Halo 3, we knew we'd get to fight a scarab, but TWO scarabs at the same time? That's the kind of "HOLY CRAP" moment I'm thinking Sony and GG wanted, and NextGN ruined it (sort of). Filthy Eskimo and NextGN sinned, and now, they must pay the penalty for it.

I'm pretty sure he's apologizing because they've been blacklisted. Actually, let me rephrase that. It would not surprise me if he's apologizing because they've been blacklisted or are being threatened with being blacklisted.

Greyfoxdbz2902d ago (Edited 2902d ago )

I havent played Halo 3 yet, and now you have spoilt it for me. I want an apology on video for me, If filthy eskimo had the stones to do it then maybe you should follow his example. Lol only kidding I never even want to play Halo
