Not in the beta? Don't sweat it, you can play with us.
FU IGN, and where the hell are the PS3 beta invites?
DC Online does look good...I hope it doesn't turn out bad like FF14 did... xD
These guys have something to prove, not just exploit a name.
I've been in the PC Beta for a while, and I gotta say they ARE putting effort into how the game is. The end game armor looks really sadistic and epic on the villain side. I haven't made a hero yet so I dunno how it is on that end. My only major complaint, is the civilian voice acting. Man when you hear Mark Hamil as the Joker(which honestly I hope he doesn't stop with that)giving you a mission, and then hearing a civilian going "ohh..oh no" in a monotone voice, it kinda kills it XD Overall though it's very fun, and I honestly can't wait for the launch.
Thanks for the input i plan on getting this on PS3 i know Sony better give me some type of discount since im a PSN + subscriber.
is the acting as bad as this? http://www.youtube.com/watc...
@thebudgetgamer It's more of monotone unenthusiastic voices. @Simon Honestly, the game feels more geared for a console-style play. Thing is, that's not a bad thing, because it still works on PC, though the only issue would be control, but even then on the PC version you can use a gamepad.
My friend is in the beta and I played the game a little bit. This beta pretty much mops the floor with that crap FF14 game.
I love how the results are basicaly you play as batman mentord by batman. We are a hero who uses martial arts and uses gadgets. Only difference is the hero can fly on his own, but then again Batman was kinda able to fly by grappling hook.
I played this at E3 this year, and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I played it on the PS3, and the controls felt smooth and responsive enough. Combat was a lot of fun. The only gripes I had I simply chalked up to being so early in development (graphical glitches, lag, etc). I walked away thoroughly impressed with it. I just really dislike that it's a pay to play setup. I'd have preferred free to play, with some paid features if you wanted them. I can't afford to keep up on MMO fees when I'll already be dropping $120 for two copies of the game (one for me, one for my wife), then I'd have to pay $15 each for our subscriptions, that's $30 a month, $360 a year. that's the cost of 6 extra video games a year. i'd much rather buy Killzone 3, Yakuza 4, Uncharted 3, inFAMOUS 2, Resistance 3, and Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One over the course of next year, than have to pay for DCU Online for 12 months for me and my wife. I'll probably pick it up, because I really enjoyed it, but I hope they don't expect me to be playing every month, since too many games, across my 360 and PS3 will be hitting next year that are vying for my wallet.
Atleast your wife will play with you!
