Worldwide Kinect shortages not 'engineered'

UK Microsoft GM, Neil Thompson has told GamesIndustryBiz that the Kinect shortages are a result of the vast logistical challenges involved in bringing a new consumer technology product to market worldwide. This follows much speculation and rumours that Microsoft may have hyped the shortages of Kinect to make the product appear more sought after. (Kinect, Neil Thompson, Xbox 360)
