With the Xbox 360 having turned five only a few days ago, Electronic Theatre thought it was about time a small amount of honour was paid to some of the console’s biggest names. Of course, few games come with a bigger name on Microsoft’s console format than that of the Halo franchise, but alongside that groundbreaking First-Person Shooter (FPS) series come a number of other gameplay heroes, some more commonly sung about than others.
D: how could Remedy do this to their fans!!!!!
I want it again, it was rediculously good for a mobile game.
Edit--Scroll down a bit for Reviews: http://www.mobygames.com/ga...
Why not have Fallout New Vegas is the best PS3 exclusive, because, as far as disc media is concerned, it's the only version to appear on a Blu-ray disc?
5/10 aren't exclusives, but don't worry at least 5/10 are! :)
@ kevco33
I don't know how someone can disagree with you. Because you brought proof of the article in correct the dude up there?
@ PirateThom
No, it isn't the same. IN THE CONSOLE MARKET. What's so hard to understand? I like Sony but I'm not a fanboy not liking the list just because it says "Xbox 360" all in it.
I swear, all of you are so hard to get to understand this crap.
And I'm not sure how my example "isn't the same", I can add a small disclaimer to anything and make it viable, which is all they've done on the site.
edit: and for a 20$ release price you can't go wrong
it does not matter whether a person has a good PC to run those games or not. the reality of the situation is that you can find most of those on PC, which makes them multiplat.
ShadowRun - on the pc too
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction - on pc too
Deadly Premonition - on the ps3 too(how did they miss that one? lol.)i guess they think japan doesn't exist.
Gears of War - on the pc too
Fable III - coming to pc
Mass Effect - on the pc too
Left 4 Dead 2 - on the pc too
Halo 3 - exclusive(pretty fun too with friends)
Fable II - exclusive(forced myself to beat it)
Halo: Reach -exclusive(gonna pick it up next year)
so let's break this down....
so only about 3/10 of those games listed are exclusives to the xbox 360 haha oh wow. step your game up xbox because this list cannot possibly touch the ps3's list.
alot of those games are shooters/wprgs, which isn't my kind of game.
edit: aw, i made the xbros cry with truth.
i've played sc:c its an ok game.
gears is over hyped played 1 and 2 for the single player nothing special.
halo 3 looks like s%^& so i didn't beat it yet i might eventually just to get my $ worth.
fable 2 isn't all that great neither cant get my self to get into it; so i haven't beat it yet so fable 3 is a no no for now.
mass effect is ok played it and i hate the pop-in(s) mass effect 2 is great though.
halo reach on the other hand is f%^&ing fantastic such and awesome game.
GT: GanZ 1982 if you don't believe me
10. ShadowRun
9. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction
8. Deadly Premonition
7. Gears of War
6. Fable III
5. Mass Effect
4. Left4Dead 2
3. Halo 3
2. Fable II
1. Halo Reach
ShadowRun - Also on Vista, but, well, it's Vista so it sucks on that.
Splinter Cell Conviction - Read up because people weren't happy with the PC version of this due to something about needing an internet connection and it would be laggy as hell or something like that.
Deadly Premonition - Not multiplat unless you're in Japan, which these people aren't so they don't need to say it belongs on PS3 because, to their place, it simply isn't.
Gears of War - Reviewers said the control scheme wasn't as smooth on PC as it was on 360.
Fable III - Not multiplat
Mass Effect - Better on PC
Left 4 Dead 2 - If you like the sticks, then 360. If you like the mouse, get it on PC. Still the same game.
Halo 3 - Not multiplat
Fable II - Not multiplat
Halo Reach - Not multiplat
So, what was your point again?
@PirateThom
So, you don't live in Japan but to help support your... "fan-like person", you're gonna say it's multiplat. Really?
@ Shinnosuke
Do your math again, man. That's 5/10 of the list are exclusives.
Especially when the N4G and website title say Xbox 360 exclusives
BTW I did read the article but that dosen't change the fact that title is wrong nor that 5/10 of those aren't exclusives.
how no region lock saved my ass when demons souls was out in asia feb 2009, no need to wait for it to come to eu/us :)
thats the end of this argument thank you.
fair list though, Reach and fable II are the most awesome, don't understand omission of Forza 3 =/

5) Fable2
4) Alan Wake
3) Forza 2&3

Maybe some honorable mentions like Kameo, Trials HD, etc. Honestly, the unique experiences found on the 360 are fewer in total than on the other platforms, but to summarily dismiss these few (and some are gems) with such fanboyish clairvoyance is petty as well. Where's Rodney King when ya need him?
of nintendos 25 years of games can be emulated on pc and the x360 has no games and no exclusives not to mention 60 dollars for online and the rip off console price with no blueray. Its funny how x360 owners dare call themselves hardcore gamers and even open there mouths and try and diss the ps3.
also lol at people talking about some XBLA bs. I have a pc I have the entire internet at my F'N dissposal. steam, mirc, skype, emulators, etc, etc XBLA is like an ant vs a Nuclear warhead which is pc.
Yay Gears of War (^_^)
There is no impartiality here, so why wasting time discussing, since a fanboy will defend their own side, without even judge what someone on the other side says?
Welcome to the Fanboy's World: the place where we fight till death to keep our opinion the universal's truth. Say something at least good about a videogame, that you will be 'strongly disagreeded' by people who likes the other videogame.
(Glad I have a normal mind, haha)
Ok, back to the article:
Yeah, some of that games are also avaliable on PC too, but what about those who don't have a powerful PC or even don't care about have it? Well, personally, I like to play only on consoles, so it wouldn't make any difference at all if a game are also on PC.
Peace, guys.
