From ShockblastMedia.com: "VIP Map Pack 7 represents the two of the first true new maps as part of the VIP program on Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and after just 24 hours, really seems to have brought interest back into the game. Through the course of the VIP program, DICE has been releasing ports of existing maps in different formats, which has definitely been a cause for excitement when the maps finally hit, but still at the end of the day, the excitement tended to be short lived since they were essentially the same old maps. Then there were the maps that never got their ports that everyone waited for, like Valparaiso and Isla Inocentes on Conquest or especially Panama Canal and Laguna Alta on Rush." -
I love the scale of the maps, they are HUGE... both Oasis and Harvest day make Rush a whole new experience.
i played those maps few times then i stopped
its not like they are bsa i love them
they are HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE with a lot of cover even in open spaces(( high grass ))
which makes them perfect for snipers
but i think its too late
i mean when the game ends and we spawn in a new map
every one just go out and there is no one to play with
the only thing why PPL play these game now is because of those 4 new maps
and thats it
but i love them
im going back to play those later on
Oasis especially was loved for wide openness AND intense CQC. The Rush progression combines both these well.
Love the new maps, just trying to get my stupid Demolition Man trophy so that I can get my Platinum
And i'm a sucker for a long draw distance:)
