The Wii isn't the only one with motion-sensing fun.
piece of crap.
Looks great. If they package the entire thing with a game bundle and advertise it everywhere it will sell like hotcakes.
Look at it now.
In2Games is using patented technology that pre-dates the Wiimote. They are using Gametrak, which was invented in 2000 yes, 6 YEARS BEFORE the Wiimote. The first game released with motion sensing was Dark Wind, October 2004 for the PLAYSTATION 2, yes 2 YEARS BEFORE the Wiimote.
So, before the IDIOTIC bashing of Sony, starts I just wanted to inform everyone. For all the people who have already posted before me, and made a fool of your self, I am sorry. (Or am I, Muahaha.. o.O)
Give me bubbles for the awesome information I just posted!
You can use the mighty Wiki to learn more here:
+bubble for time researching
-bubble for wikipedia as a source of research.
Wikipedia is the encyclopedia that anyone can edit. How reliable is that?
Just joking I gave you a bubble.
This thing FINALLY came to fruition?
Wasn't it announced like quite a while ago? =|
Yea but now it comes with 6 fu%^#$^#^^#^$ controllers.
lmao. Talk about a knock off, I wonder how the pricing will work.
And People, this product:
WAS NOT MADE BY SONY.
Can you play it on the PS3? If so then awesome.
This can't be real.
What a rip off
its a half azzed rip off
bring it on! wohoo!
note: package best played when consuming perception enhancing substances such as coke, marijuana etc. Sony or In2Games are not responsible for any injuries or deaths that may occur due to substance overdose.
definition: grasping for something (be it a object or a goal) desperatly when u realize you are about to lose it. In this case it's market share and who's reaching Sony. Will they grab it? Nope! LOL!!!
I saw this on gamer tv like 4 or 5 years ago....
A superior rip-off I guess. Better graphics, better controllers, and looks more fun; especially on a cheaper console that has similar horsepower and at least ten times the amount of AAA exclusives.
What else could any casual want? If Sony makes this bundle cheaper than the Wii, then they'll steal some Wii sales. That's the only thing they need to slow down Wii sales while at the same time making profit. Good job.
By the way, "Rip-offs" are the way of the industry. Get over it.
wii has like 8 different controller too. What's the difference nothing see I told you wii is lastgen, now the PS2 can do what the wii can and it's cheaper. What's funny is if developers now when they make a wii game now it can be multiplatform and bring it to the PS2.
DVd remote $20 dollars
using same tech as lastgen $250(wii)
About to get your azz handed to you by Sony again.....Priceless
come on Sony help these developers bring every 3rd party wii game to the PS2. Can you imagine if every wii game would come to the PS2..priceless...I guess PS2 just enter the next gen wars...right NES fans...
You said it once. And no one cared but me.
What happen to the PowerGlove??!?!?!!
This is an approved story? Maybe I should make my own fan-boy web site and post fan-boyish stories from it on n4g.com to promote it. wow.
That smoked the Wii anyday, looks more fun,way better looking controllers than the Wii ....
The Japanese will love this...
However, that puzzle ball thing will be getting thrown through some windows in frustration. Those balance the ball maze/games are really frustrating.
wow, way to go sony. you truly know about innovation, thats for sure.
i like how you never actually saw any tennis, and how they amazingly integrated need for speed, wii sports, and metroid all in one. if this does sell like hotcakes this holiday season, there are going to be a lot of pissed off kids Christmas morning. i mean seriously. wtf. who would develop for this anyways?
pre-patented technology that pre-dates the Wiimote or not, they dropped the ball.
sony, Please just devote all of your R&D to bringing us great PS3 games!
i know that "Rip-offs" are the way of the industry. Get over it," i completely agree. just like how so many straight to DVD movies end up in the back of so many pawn shops and big lots stores, this will find its home.
The ps2 sale is still better than the xbox 360 and the ps3, so now it's going more casual gaming with a Wiimote like. The ps2 is not dead yet..
I won't talk about which came first Wiimote or Gametrack, but a lot of people might like that.
The sale of the Wii and ps2 show that the nextgen is not really a success yet.
These accessories looks specific for this game. It doesn't look like it goes with future releases besides real play. Sony just needs to make two wii-mote like devices and make it different to protect them from copy infringement.
i agree. i once saw some kind of rumor page about this sort of thing. the picture showed a ps3 controller splitting apart right down the middle. it was a good idea. i just think that sony is trying its hands in too many pots, so to speak, and is loosing ground by not staying true to its self.
take the 360 for example. it stands true and does not waver at all. they said it was going to be a fancy nextgeneration console, and thats what they have been aiming for. the wii told everyone that it did not need great new and powerful graphics to succeed, and its doing great.
the ps3, or sony, just needs decide what it wants to be. i'm sure it will be great. i know that by letting the ps2 die it will loose sony a lot of sales, but if they used that energy to focus on the ps3 and if they came out with something great they would make their money back.
