Videogame Verdict: Donkey Kong Returns Review | High-Def Digest

Dick Ward writes: "When it works, it takes me right back to those days when I was twelve-years-old, sitting in my pajamas late at night or early in the morning, playing with the sound off so that there was no chance of waking anyone up.

When it doesn’t work – and there are more than a few times – it’s one of the most frustrating games I’ve ever played. It’s a mixture of pleasure and pain that leaves me feeling hurt and confused." (Donkey Kong Country Returns, Nintendo, Retro Studios, Wii) 4/5
