Marvel vs Capcom 3 getting 10 more characters.

According to Famitsu, there should be about ten more characters left to be announced for Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, five for each side. Rather than a concrete statement, though, it seemed to be more of an assumption based on what Capcom has said earlier regarding the title (like monthly character announcements, and such). Here's a quick bullet-point list regarding what was said.

oh my god, there's even more, this could be the one of the greatest fighting games of all time, gameplay looks fantastic, every time I see this game it looks better. This will be the first day 1 buy I've ever did for a fighting game.

Well I got Tekken when it first came out. No regrets here at all. I will need to pick this game up since I like all sorts of genres when it comes to games. I just want fighting games to have a create your own fighter, at least in this gaming generation. I like that a lot from SC4 and Tekken 6. Not saying all fighting games need this but it would be pretty cool, even for Marvel vs Capcom 3 as that you can create other marvel characters and what not.

sorry but after looking at that lineup... its going to be pitiful. i was so looking forward to this game too. unless those 10 characters are the best characters this game is going to blow. i'll stick with mvc2.

Why the F does they have to make character DLC???? Why do gamers have to pay extra money to unlock contents which are already on the disk???? Why does the developer have to make DLC even before the release date???

The game is not even out yet, and they could have included the other characters in the game, but chose not to. F**king greedy bastards.

There was once a time when hidden characters, different outfits and colors were unlocked through secret button combination, or completing a game a certain way. Now it's all about paying for the unlocks.

There's so many great X-Men characters they could use - Gambit, Nightcrawler, Beast, etc. - but I'm sure they'll throw in someone like Pixie just to spite me.

this is why the gaming industry is slowly dying. we want to aim for variety, not destroy variety. really don't see how this game sets itself apart from other FPS games.

I'm gonna lol when there is no Super MvC3 and you all would have missed out on a decent game. You guys are looking at this the wrong way, look at whats on the disc. Forget everything that DLC and all that, just look at whats on the disc. Is that worth $60 to you? If it is go buy it, if not don't. It's that simple.

It doesn't have nothing to do with what it's already in game, the fact is the you will pay full price for an incomplete game, and that's so wrong.

I support DLC, but only in case of something that is not already in the game from the beggining. I mean, if the game is already out, and some months later the developers decide that they could add something more on the game to provide a better experience, then I would buy it.

Crapcom is blocking the access for some characters that are on the game already and charging us to unlock them.

my favorite team in mvc2, I know they are not the best by far, was cyclops, gambit, and iceman. They were just my fun team.

So far, none of them have been announced, so it looks like I will be waiting myself.

I think they should put all the Characters in as possible & forget about DLC.Its a online game & the less the Characters the quicker it gets stale, the more Characters the bigger the replay value. I believe paying for DLC is ruining the game industry. If they just gave DLC for games for free, then who in their right mind would trade their games, plus the value would stay strong....Just My Opinion

Ms. Marvel and Spider Woman would play to similarly, and Akuma is to similar to Ryu. Also there is no Fantastic 4 characters, if you want to use their powers use Super Skrull who is an alien with all of the F4 Powers, and gambit/cyclops have been disconfirmed. Don't hold your breath for Bison, strong rumors that he is out too.
