OXCGN’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Single Player Review

"Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is one of those games. The sequel that’s not a sequel, but is a continuation of the main storyline with additional fresh content. Assassin’s Creed 2.5 is the easiest way to describe it...

It manages to tell a riveting, powerful tale unlike anything you’ve ever seen before, and leaves you hanging with an ending that will undoubtedly force your jaw to drop at the sheer unexpected perfection of it."

Wow a 10! This series keeps getting stronger.

Can't wait to see where Assassin's Creed 3 is going but I hope they take time with it.

I agree. I can't wait to play this game.

The author said it well at the end, saying it could survive multiple iterations of this type. The sad thing is there's another coming next year, and it's not AC3...

...I'm going to let my mind tell me that they're working on AC3 during all of this. That makes it seem better.

I don't think it could survive too many more. I think that AC3 should be the next one out and not another 2.5.

My feeling is that it will be another game for portable? 3DS maybe? Or PSP2?

I like how Brotherhood takes place in Rome and it also good to get a bit extra of Ezio's story.

I can't wait to see what happens with the next one!

Proeliator2793d ago

Next year's iteration, which isn't AC3, has me wondering. Ezio is definitely the biggest and most fleshed out protagonist we've had in the AC franchise, and it's going to be hard to move onto a new protagonist that's not yet Desmond.

The author seems to have trust in Ubi, so I'm also going to have to side with he/she...

10/10 interesting... I havent played it yet but for what seems to be referred as AC2.5 Im not sure if I would agree.... maybe.

Proeliator2793d ago

AC 2.5 is a perfect way of describing it, because it improves upon everything AC2 introduced, but it's not yet AC3.

I have the game on PS3, and i am 8 hrs into the single player, the game is awesome, however sometimes it takes a while for places/people to appear(i have to closely approach them) and also it has frozen on me once so far, is this common or my PS3 is dying :(

gaminoz2793d ago

There have been a couple reports of freezing (especially in multi though) on PS3:

It seems a lot of cross-platform titles have been suffering 'something' on PS3 lately: eg. COD: Black Ops.

Let's hope they stop having these troubles, but to be fair some games freeze on 360 too.
