PS3 29,058

DSi 20,550
Xbox 360 7,083

so much for kinect hype in japan.

meh, its three times what it was last week.

Sure we'll see articles calling that a huge success and a comeback.

It did tripple the sales with just 1 day on this chart. If the trend continues it could sell 20,000 in the first week. It is still too early to know if Kinect bounce was helpful in Japan. I am guessing that it was not a game changer, but it has already shown that it did increase sales of 360's in Japan

Why wouldn't Sony owners care about sales, they have shares in the company. If I'm not mistaken sales make them money.

PPL seem to not know that if you're a customer of a company, you are indeed an external stakeholder...
Sure as a customer you don't have any say in direct economic decisions the company makes, but you are nevertheless affected by is actions, such as strong or weak sales etc.

So in essence, if you own a particular console, you'll no doubt want to see that company do well because their success affects the service they can provide you.

that and Monster Hunter.
Cloudberry  +   1395d ago
Probably for future games.
.
Especially for Monster Hunter Portable 3, launched in December 3rd 2010.

A very, very, very huge anticipated title & future sales for PSP & the game it self in Japan.

what just happened to the PSP?

Wasn't it said to be dead?
maxcer  +   1395d ago
not in the land of the rising handhelds
Halo_Reach  +   1395d ago
So while Psp is almost dead in Europe and Americas
its doing ok on Middle East and Asia and Amazing in Japan!

Damn Psp is a beast in Japan , not bigger than DS but maybe PSP2 will beat 3DS there wich would be an amazing achievement!

Good to see psp still going strong.

Why isn't there Monster Hunter game for ps3?
ZombieAssassin  +   1395d ago
We all want an answer for that question, the least they could do is port MH3 over from the Wii with move support.
