Sony plans to introduce a user-interface update for the PS3 version of VUDU later in December, which will allow users to control the service using the Move motion-sensing controller.
It already works for downloaded movies. I haven't tried it with Hulu, but it doesn't work with the Netflix App. It did work with the Netflix Disc, so maybe it works with all blurays or dvds. Sony, as long as you stay on the ball, I'll be happy.
it didnt work with the new netflix app then it made sense after seeing the wii version. Sony will step up and fix that. Guaranteed!
MUBI launched with MOVE support as well. The launch of MOVE was well planned, you see it in how XMB fully supports it, the browser and applications, a bunch of already existent games that just needed a patch + new titles.
"awesome" Not anywhere near as awesome as using Kinect. You dont even need a physical controller. Kinect is the future.
ummm....im a xbox owner...im just saying its "awesome" cant i say anything that this is "awesome"?
Because I always wanted to throw my arms around when searching for a movie. But streaming 1080P is great though. Not sure what codec they would use as I'm pretty sure not more than 5% have the bandwidth to stream a blu ray quality movie. Then again, fibre is spreading slowly but surely
your not throwing your arms around, your pointing.
I always wanted to shout xbox pause! Seriously, you point the controller like a remote.. xbox makes you wave your entire arm about to search content.. Try again sleepy3
I would love to shout "XBOX OFF!" when playing over Live and shutting everyones system off midgame. That would be funny for the pranker.
or how about "xbox upgrade" to automatically shut down and boot up your PS3. or maybe "xbox deposit" to automatically deposit your paycheck into MS points for xbl and re subscribe to live.
dude you don't even move your arm, mostly just your wrist
Retarts have truble you know .......not that he is one ,right. :)
No No No we are talking about the Move not Kinect, read the title again
that would be something to see.LMAO
Kinect is truly innovative. Having a cursor on the screen to select options, instead of just yourself in real-time moving your hand over an option...is truly brilliant. Here...look! http://www.youtube.com/watc...
just what we need. lol a third movie/tv show service. i already barely afford netflix and hulu alone. keep having to put netflix on hold so it wont charge me. but other than that. its nice to know that sony is gettin serious with their content on the ps3. and ill be able to use my move controller?? awsome!! xbox has zune, ps3 has VUDU. everybody wins.
VUDU is a pay as you go rental service. There is no monthly fee. It works just like VOD from cable tv providers.
i like my sony blu ray remote. works just fine, one of the things i love about is that because its bluetooth, i dont have to point. that's the inconvenient part of remotes is having to point in the right area.. with my bluetooth blu ray remote i can press pause or play from any where in my living room
