With a multiplayer component and building an army of assassins its keystones, is Brotherhood ready to step out of the shadows?
IGN gave this game a 8.0 and GT a 9.0. Hmmmm, I guess I should just play the game and ignore these reviews. After all, every person has different opinions on games...
Its a catch 22 with reviews, you read the reviews to decide if to get the game but don't trust the reviews until you play the game yourself...sucks for the tight wallet and people like me who live in a country where there are no proper game rental outlets.
the general rule i follow is to stay away (from purchasing at full price) when multiple reviews are 7 and below, with the avg being around 6.5 or so on metacritic. i typically pay attention to IGN/Gametrailers reviews. my personal score ends up being between those two typically.
not a 9.
heck, at times it doesn't even sound like an 8 but I totally agree. I'm not saying the game doesn't deserve a 9 but the content of the review and the final score don't match up at all.
Ignore the score just the content of the review, well vid in GT case, that's what I try to do...unsuccessfully most times though :(
Seriously, it sounded like a 6-7 game.
GT is always weird on scoring, but I like their reviews. This one, though was not as good, it was as if they were trying to make it longer. How many times can you say the assassin hiring is good?
the way the guy was criticising the game i thought it would get an 8 at most especially when they have gave games lower scores and praised them through most of the review.
yeah I thought it was gonna be an 8,
They change the score, it was in 8.8 earlier.
