Final Fantasy VII should be on the list, I just bought it on PSN last week and those graphics were horrible, I mean the game is fun and thats what counts but wow.

...most PSOne games are pretty brutal on the eyes nowadays. Especially when you consider that there are those or us playing on teles exceeding 40 inches. I was playing Syphon Filter and that game had my eyes watering at some spots and I was complaining about lack of second analog BUT when I first played that game I remember it being awe inspiring.

not sure about silent hill 2. it almost beats homecoming in terms of graphics. silent hill 2 still gives me that wow, so i don't know what you've been drinking.

I know one game that really hasn't aged well, Deus Ex: The Conspiracy. I actually just bought a mint condition copy on Ebay because everyone says what a great game it is and I missed it last gen. The game is archaic in every sense of the word. Maybe the PC version is a little better, but I could care less. Oh well, it will just sit on the shelf and look good.

graphics wise the game shows, but gameplay, story, choices and dialog all are still really good even today. I mean the options beat back most so-called modern RPGs and this is a game 10 years old.

I'm not sure if I care about graphics much when it comes to old games. When I play an old game, I expect crappy graphics.
With recent games, it's a different story...
Not sure if I agree with many of those on the list.
With Ominusha: Warlords, it was said that "now we’re used to the likes of Devil May Cry 4, no-one should hark back to the days of slowly rotating like a sinking oil tanker."
That could be said about any old game!
Sometimes people like the simplicity of older games. It's one of the reasons why I still play Sonic the Hedgehog on SMS.
