Upcoming PC games like Crysis and Unreal Tournament 3 will certainly be pushing even the best hardware to the limit, especially graphics cards. Which is why one of the newly announced Diamond FX 2000 cards will come in handy.
I can pretty confidently say that if you have a decent processor with enough system ram and this GPU frame rate problems will be a thing of the past.
COOL, now those 5 people can buy it!
lol exactly. This is the reason why I got out of PC gaming, too bloody expensive just to play games!
this is exactly why pc gaming is dying so rapidly. Dual and Quad SLI graphics cards, 1gb, 512mb, 2gb video cards, etc...
but wouldn't most of that RAM be inaccessible?
along with a quad core Pentium, 2gb of pc6200 DDR ram and framerate problems are a thing of the past. This card is overkill at this point and time.
I do see this, in professional use in movie, game making or Visual programming... The hell ? 2GB of Vram is crazy and useless really, for no game will need that many ram, be wise why make High-end cards that pushes consumers away when they could make mainstream Cards thats friendly to our wallets but give very well balanced performance in games in such. Reason why I quit PC and love the consoles(Wii,360 and PS3). Seeing that just makes me disappointed.
that won't come cheap, maybe in 2009 it will. It'll be good for CGI rendering on 3dsmax & Maya, i doubt if it could render graphic intensive scenes in real time, i.e 29 fps
Why the hell do we need 2GB cards right now? hell right now games like crysis on HIGH res need around 500mb (and THAT was alarming some people) 2GB seem like overkill to try to milk some people out of their money cuz I bet you those cards like be in the 1000 bucks EASY
KB/mouse best of FPS. Pc gaming is just too expensive. I'm rapidly quitting pc gaming. can't afford those graphic cards. I want to play Crysis. No luck for me!!!!!!!!! "damn yo just too so right"
I agree with the above comment, and I will also add that its just becoming to hard to keep up with all the changing technology and new graphics card. Thats why consumers are most are opting for a console, its just nice and simple.
This is in fact funny. By the way it goes in a few years we are making some savings to buy a Graphics Card, and then, well we can buy a PC, after all they are cheaper compared to Graphics Cards... I can always rob a bank...
