Whoa ... so ... Assassin's Creed 3? Yeah, but obviously, not till 2012. And watch them announce Splinter Cell 6 at E32011.

Well, it's all good, as long as I get Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Assassin's Creed 3, and Splinter Cell 6.

All in all, 2012 is starting to fill out with some quality titles.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising, Bioshock Infinite, Devil's Third, and now Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Assassin's Creed 3 and maybe even Splinter Cell 6.

Great news. I can't wait to see how the story will end.

Also if we're lucky we might get another Sony Santa Monica game by then and if we're really lucky we might get Gran Turismo 6 by the end of 2012 :D.
These following games will most certainly be released by 2012 too: Fifa '13, WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2013, Pro Evo 2013, Madden '13 and Call of Duty 9.

PS- On January 1st 2013 I think I'll watch 2012 on Blu-Ray :)

Convas4907d ago (Edited 4907d ago )

LOL @ Watching 2012 on January 1st 2013, I think I'll join you, as many others will no doubt.

LMAO @ GT6 by the end of 2012. I'm not sure you realize how massive a pipedream that is, but I don't think it will happen. You'd be lucky to see GT6 by 2014.

LarVanian4907d ago

If GT6 is being made on PS3 then I'd say it'll come out sooner than you think since Polyphony Digital already have the engine set :D
Also I gotta say that just by looking at the disagrees I got there are some people on this site who seriously cannot take a harmless joke :(

I really hope they wait until at least mid 2012. AC: Brotherhood is coming out a little too soon after AC2. I want them to make an even better game, and AC: Brotherhood looks like it's pretty much the same as AC2.

Quagmire4907d ago

Thats the whole point. Its like part 2 os AC2. Imagine if AC2 and ACB was part of one game, but they decided to split into 2 parts.

Plus, it was quick because they didnt have to build or recreate much since they already had about 80pc of the models there for use, cuts down plenty of time.

ALFAxD_CENTAURO4907d ago

It is suppose to be 3 AA Games.
Brotherhood is only a part of AA 2. And AA Bloodlines is from the 1st AA.

But AA 3 is the last game for the series, and maybe after AA 3 there is another AA to be part of AA 3 story, like Brotherhood for AA2 and Bloodlines for AA 1.

joydestroy4907d ago

Ghost Recon will be out 2011.
Ubisoft is milking the crap outta the AC franchise. one every year now? i've played the first and second, and it sounds like Brotherhood should've really been the first title in the series. glad i haven't actually bought one yet.

ALFAxD_CENTAURO4907d ago

AA Series are only 3.

But Brotherhood, and Bloodlines are not necessary. Those are just like extra AA Games.

joydestroy4907d ago

crap. Ghost Recon is coming out in 2012...because it was delayed! wtfffffff =/

Thatguy-3104907d ago

why are most people happy about this ?? is looking like ubisoft is ready to completely milk the assassins creed franchise; we argue and complain about how activision is doing this with COD but all of a sudden its ok ??? Mark my word from now on assassins creed game arrant gonna be amazing because of the short time frame their making them

Neo Nugget4907d ago

When will you decommission this new one? I’m only asking so I can be happier by not buying it at full price.

The dog Chorizo from FAR CRY 6 has wheelchair legs, so is hardly a decommissioned pet. In fact very useful for digging up dirt.

Historic Eras that Video Games Need to Explore

Xfire writes "Worldbuilding is a crucial part of any story. It's not an easy task to create a believable setting with its own set of rules, customs, traditions and political affiliations and then weave a story into the said setting. Luckily, storytellers and video game writers don't always need to create complex settings when we've got history books as thick as Big Chungus.

Historical eras make a fabulous setting for video games. They've already got the world-building nailed, complete with their own set of rules, customs, traditions and political affiliations. Honestly, I don't think I need to justify the fact that historical eras make an amazing setting for video games. If you don't believe me, just go ahead and play the Ghost of Tsushima or any of the Assassin's Creed games."

The first crusade would be pretty sweet. I’d probably enjoy any of those on your list if they were done respectfully. Like not some dork in Portland making a Russian Revolution game.

Benin Empire, Far East, Central America. Games are pretty biased toward Europe, North America, and the Middle East. There is a very big world out there.

Inverno1371d ago

Or just wait til Ubisoft gives em out for free lol. they've practically given out all the AC games for free, as well as both Watch Dog games, and Rayman. Ubisoft is weird
