GamerNode | THQ wants a lower price point for their games

Admittedly, it is an idea born of financial expansion, rather than one born of helping out the consumer, but it's a welcome idea either way. THQ is planning on lowering the long held $59.99 price point of their releases down to $39.99. The idea, according to THQ president Brian Farrell, is to create a larger install base that can be then sold DLC. Farrell said, "It's not, 'how high a price can we get', but 'how many users.'"
