Steam recently released an update for the PC platform for Call of Duty: Black Ops. We've noticed some slight changes in performance and gameplay, however, we still look to more changes and updates as Treyarch further fixes the reported issues.
Fortunately suffering from a little less lag, but still substantial issues to be fixed in the coming weeks.
Any idea when this update was released? I played last night until about 11-12 and there was no update.

Wow... I suggest everyone follows turning off "Sync every Frame" as given in the article. The difference is way noticeable. Smooth Mouse 4tl. Thanks!!!
Yah that smooth mouse thing got soooo annoying, it feels like a totally different aiming system with it off now.
Article updated accordingly with more clear information from Steam, etc.
Think ima do the same pheer.
Nice post Kdog. hope they get more patches out soon.
For sure, smooth mouse is awful. Way better when you turn off sync every frame. feels more like the control of MW2
getting better every day. some stuttering on day 1, hardly anything last night, and seems perfect tonight. good job treyarch!
I guess they been to focus on doing it right on xbox 360. LOL
And they still refuse to do a good fix for the PS3 version. I mean seriously theres enough PS3 owners out there to warrant spending a little more time to bring both versions at the same lvl.
i.d network code. snaps packets can you do timenudge, lol. com_maxfps 120 try 125
