Kudo, skating and Leona Lewis at London event
And it begins again…
well, it keeps the atraction. Otherwise, most people would have forgotten about it's existence already.
How much did Microsoft have to pay people to queue up for the launch? I've been to a couple of midnight launches, Halo 3 and Reach but I honestly can't believe a self respecting gamer would queue in the cold for kinect, astonishing...
At the toysRus in new york for example for the first 3,000 people they gave a free game, 1 year xboxlive and a 150 dollar voucher. Could be the same here cause a free kinect plus 1 year xboxlive is extremely tempting. I mean if you had to buy it all it would be. 150 kinect + 150 voucher +60 1 year Live + 60 game = 420 dollars or the price of the 250gb slim with kinect Correct me if i make a mistake pls
Actually you had to first pay $150 for kinect and then the first 3,000 got kinect sports, joy ride, and a one-year Gold subscription to Xbox Live= $150 retail value of product+service, in other words making the purchase of kinect free, NOT $420 as you say. http://www.qj.net/qjnet/xbo...

before they even begun.
My brother works at GameStation. For the PS Move advertising was mandatory obviously, the same with Kinect they had official advertising that was supposed to be put up. But the 360 fanboys that work there decided that wasn't enough, and actually had an arts and crafts day where they made their own posters to advertise it. Saying that 'the pre-orders are high buy now if you want a chance to get Kinect'. When midnight launch came only six people showed up, glorious.
