MediaKick - Review: F1 2010

So there are 24 cars lined up neatly on the Melbourne starting grid waiting for the lights. The lights click into gear, and they all speed off the line, only to cause a major crash on the first corner. That’s when I got up and went to do something else. It’s not hard to tell that I’m not the biggest F1 fan you’ll ever come across. I’ve tried to watch a few Grand Prix’ but get bored with them rather quickly. Now I know what you’re thinking; ‘Why the hell is this guy reviewing F1 then?’ and to put it simply, I love all racers – albeit more on the arcade side of racers. Nevertheless, F1 2010 is Codemasters’ first crack of the whip at a Formula One game and for the most part, they have done a cracking job. (Codemasters, Codemasters Birmingham, F1 2010, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) B+/A+
