Sonic Colors: What Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Should Have Been (RunDLC)

While playing Sonic Colors, we couldn’t help but wonder why Sega didn’t just call this game Sonic the Hedgehog 4, instead of the downloadable effort that debuted last month. Not only is Colors more enjoyable, but consumers also receive more for their money. At least this way, no one would have complained about the publisher’s decision to release Sonic 4 in bite-sized chunks, while having a blast with a game that does the franchise proud.

Why compare them?

One is a 3D-world game for the Wii/DS.

The other is a downloadable title meant to return to the 2D roots of the franchise.

Colors looks amazing and makes me wish I had a Wii.
