So far metacritic has 3 reviews for it and it comes in at a whopping 39 out of a 100 score.
Articals about reviews in an average = Lame.
Both Fighters Uncaged and The Fight: Lights out have failed miserably.
both those games are so shitty i thought they were the same game for a while
i find that funny, being that the worst game on both Motion devices are both fighting games.
have combined it with the other shovel ware and make it into one disc, it might have gotten a better score.
Kung Fu Rider has a 36
and this is the problem with kinect and motion controls in general the more technical the game play the harder it is for kinect to track. slapping balls and petting on screen animals is one thing but using kinect for anything with deep and technical game play is going to be hard to get right.
Why does the title have to be written this way? And to imagine it comes from a so called 'professional journalist' AND it got approved.
didn't know it Kung Fu Rider was available for Kinect too!? =|
"Fighters Uncaged and The Fight: Lights out have failed miserably" It's a shame. You'd think fighting games would be a natural choice for motion controls. They were probably just poorly done, thrown together to make release dates.
It seems it will be a "Fight" for worst motion control fighting game. :D
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the standard of running a gaming website. It's that easy.
The fight : 7 reviews 80, 70, 50, 50, 50, 30, 30 (!) fighters uncaged : 4 reviews, 60, 45, 40, 20. Even if it's not a good game, the figth seems better (and move is far superior, nobody can't deny that fact)
but it still has cr*p games Ironic sony say the move wont get shovel ware and yet.... http://img143.imageshack.us...
there 1st gen motion control games are always bad, lets tune in next year to see how much these devs improve on all platforms.
Common sense at its best right there
Dont expect too much of it on N4G though
Oh wow, it's getting really bad now if we have articles going up about how much a game is getting on Metacritic.
and with 3 reviews? I agree it's not looking good but some waste no time in condemning something.
I want to see a Dragon Ball Z game for Kinect. You think you look stupid playing Kinect games now? Wait till you're playing a DBZ game for Kinect.
you will look worse than the actors did in that movie from a year or 2 ago.
No....no you will not....they were really trying and that....eyesore should never have happened. I was curious how a live action DBZ would turn out, I'm also curious what would happen if I took a random dump in the middle of a crowded area, what people would do. But neither of those things should ever happen. That's what Dragonball Evolution was, a huge dump in the middle of a crowded area. Yeah you would look stupid but hey, you're telling me that you wouldn't want to fire a Kamehameha just once? I mean come on, a DBZ game that does moves based on voice commands and hand motions, it'd be cool. Never got why they had to shout the moves, like....they are trying to surprise Oozaru Vegta or Great Ape Vegeta, what have you, and Krillin screams out, DESTRUCTO DISC! Is it any wonder the big MF jumped over it? But then he went down like a bitch to Yajirobe. .....nerd rant over.
@DaBadGuy That just convinced me to buy a Dbz kinetic game.
comes to mind when I think of Dragon Ball Z games. It can be done though.
Move's The Fight: Lights Out... i have both now XD...
You have both now? Well what say you? Are the low reviews justified or are they good?
I am not willing to buy they to find out how bad they really are. They need to release demos.
but, after a little time, i think i would score them just a bit higher than what metacritic says... that's just for solo play, i'm still scheduling a motion party to try them out with a group...
Pretty disappointed that two boxing games with motion controls got such low scores...you'd think making a boxing game for Move or Kinect would be easy to make and would turn out brilliantly, given the nature of the two devices. :S
both this and the move fight game suck hard. How hard is it to make a decent motion control fighting game? Punch Out was fun as hell!!
I still must play it sometime since my friends dad does a voice in it, but it does look terrible.
An article about Meta scores... *crumbles*
Sonic will beat this.
This and The Fight: Lights Out, DAY 1! Btw I hate myself.
...because it's published by Ubisoft, who is very proactive in motion control gaming this gen. Their own entries have been solid, to great, with the most recent being Kinect's Ubisoft Your Shape: FE, which is very good, and accurate....and actually has kicking and boxing in some of the training modes. If the same studio had done Fighters Uncaged...rather than this AMA Studios, I'm sure it would have been a MUCH better game. What a shame.
Farcry for Wii? Quantum Theory? Fighters Uncaged Kinect?
