ESRB has rated Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed T for Teen because of blood, violence and strong language.
They seriously toned down the game because the first CG teaser trailer was seriously bloody as was the trailer to some extent. Another great game watered down to get T rating.
it can appeal to a broader audience any thing bad can be good if you look at the bright side.
Good point. If it's sales are good enough, then they'd make a sequel and make it M rated. Just like they did with Prinse Of Persia: Sands Of Time. Sands was rated T for Teen but the sequel Warrior Within was M rated.
employ the same concept with movies to video games? IE movie comes out to the theater with a PG-13 rating and then the DVD comes out unrated. Both crowds are happy.
For the love of God, you are a freaking assassin. The fact of removing some blood from the game removes the ethic and moral undertones is ridiculous.
Wow just think if they made the movie "Gladiator" a PG-13. It would not have been as great.
I might just pass on this game now.
