It's being rumoured that Sainsbury's and Morrisons will sell Call of Duty: Black Ops for just £25 at launch.
Very likely to happen Sainsbury's did it last year and my local store was packed Edit spelled Sainsbury's wrong
bargain for that price
if it got more people in the shops im sure they will do it again
Sainsburys did last year, also FIFA 11 was reduced to £10 if you spent £50 minimum in store, (it was £36 on it's own)
Only reason they can afford to do it is because games aren't their main point of sales..i.e. they make more from people buying food shopping and such.. that way they can afford to sell games/cd/blu-ray and dvd's cheaper than the RRP
Hmm, not sure if they will go this low considering the increased RRP of black ops.. I mean it is obviously competitive pricing but considering FIFA in the UK was cheapest like 32 quid I think, I doubt we will see a drop as low as 25. I work at one of the shops listed anyway so if I'm making a stand for the game I'll let you all know but I doubt the price would hit 25 without any other tie-ins.
EA are stressed out! trade in broken camping sniper game MoH and get Black Ops for £5! LOL
its actually get it for 7.99... still ridiculous though
