What Consoles Did Konami Sell The Most Games On?‎

In the first half of 2009, Konami sold the majority of their software on the Nintendo Wii, which accounted for 23% of their videogame console software sales.

In 2010, Wii software dropped drastically, and was replaced, instead, by the PlayStation 3, which accounts for 29% of Konami’s videogame console software sales this year.

im joking because recently besides

those are the only 4 games they have made recently

visualb2538d ago (Edited 2538d ago )

must be Pro Evo or something...xD

fair yet surprisingly, Konami and Playstation...always made sense.

Samus HD2537d ago

must be Pro Evo or something...xD and metal gear solid 4 ( for ps3 i mean)

Coffin872538d ago

Yeah. Besides all the shit they recently did, I still can't hate them.
I always loved Konami and probably always will.

2007 : "bububu you 'll see, ps3 is the new dreamcast, no one would make games for 10 millions consoles, in 2011"

FAIL.

sku7790tz2538d ago

ps3/playstation makes konami business.

Seferoth752538d ago

Well when that is all the really support of course they are going to make the most money there.

It would be like posting HVS profits. They make them all on Wii. Does that mean Wii is the best console for software from every other dev? Of course not.

Konami is nothing to me and hasnt been in a few gens.
If they went under I doubt a majority of the gaming world would notice because they focus on the minority

Saryk2538d ago

Who the hell is Konami?

I see they got 3% from PC. What games would that be?

comp_ali2538d ago

just pro evo soccer series and for the record it is just a direct port from the 360 version.

visualb2538d ago

They should probably drop MG Rising for the 360. There's no business there.

CrazyForGames2538d ago

considering they made 8% of their sales from releasing nothing on the 360 i would say there's allot of business there

Sez 2538d ago (Edited 2538d ago )

and what exactly did they make for 360 exclusively? huh

Edit: don't disagree give a answer. what game did konami make for the 360 since you want to say something retarded.

ash_divine2538d ago

If you're trying to say MGS4 influenced the results, I disagree. If these charts were from 2008, I'd agree. But these are April-Sept. 2009 and 2010 respectively. So I doubt MGS4 (the only Konami PS3 exclusive) had that much impact on these charts. I just looked up a list of the games Konami released on both platforms, and they're about even in length. With most of the games being multiplat anyways. I think the reason the chart leans toward the ps3 is because of the piracy on the 360 and lack thereof on the ps3.
