Gerlandino Messina, a real-life Mafia boss, was this week arrested by police in his native Italy. And in an ironic twist of fate, was caught while he was playing the Godfather video game on Xbox 360.
. "Among the country's 30 most dangerous fugitives, Messina has been on the run for 11 years but was eventually caught in his hideout where, among other things, police are rumoured to have found a whole collection of gangster-related games including GTA IV, Mafia II and the aforementioned Godfather."

Well, you need something to do when you're not wacking people.
Wacking off in the virtual world.
See video games should be praised, he replaced his urge to kill with these games.
LMAO at the cop with the ski mask on! Imagine arresting someone like that then... Pew Pew Pew - game over?!
you do know why they wear ski masks right? its to protect the officers identity from other mafia members that try to find that kill the officer and their relatives.
Understood. I was just pointing it out because the uniformed cops faces are exposed. It was a joke.
uniformed are local policemen. masked men are from special force or detectives.
That is rich.
It's for training purposes.
hahaha, that is great!
Mafia Boss? I highly doubt this guy was a real Mafia boss, an Italian organised crime family boss? sure, they have them too But the Mafia is Sicilian.
He is a real mafia boss. http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... On topic, this is hilarious. Maybe, The Godfather is like Rudy to a football player. He was playing it for inspiration.
I just reading this after make me laughed and OMG. Hhaaa Busted failed LOL
LMAO. this is the funnest news in months here.
LMAO May be he used the games for training purposed after having to hide for so many years
'The streets are surely now a safer place to live, unless of course, he does a Saints Row 2 and busts out of that joint?' That bit was quality.
If this guys around what was the big deal about John Gotti being The Last Gangster
I bet plays Mafia Wars on Facebook and Mobsters on Kuma Games.
The Saints Row 2 Joke Was Golden
if true. A mafioso that plays videogames... *facepalm* Did he kill his last victim telling him/her "Game over"? And went back home and played some game, as if nothing happened? More importantly: didn't the thought of his REAL LIFE victims (killed by gun fire or drugs or w/e) who will never get to enjoy a VG or whatever from real life anymore, somehow stop him from enjoying his game?
(waits for the media to spin this into 'Are VideoGames Causing Our Children To Turn To Organized Crime?")
