Should children be banned from buying violent games?

BBC: The US Supreme Court of Justice has been deciding whether children should be stopped from buying violent video games that involve murders and sexual assault.

Five years ago, California's then-governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed into state law the Violent Video Games Act. It defines violence in games as 'killing, maiming, dismembering or sexually assaulting an image of a human being' and bans the sales of such games to the under 18s.

The story is too old to be commented.

No, you should be banned from buying M games but not any game with violence.

What's the point? Children are "banned" from buying weed and alcohol but that has yet to stop a single one of them from actually getting their hands on it. The prevention is a pointless waste of time and tax payer money. Focus on something more important.

In another post you were ranting about how you "fucking hate Americans" now you care about our age laws?

And what evidence do you have that supports your claim that no child has ever not gotten their hands on weed or booze because of it being illegal? I remember quite a few times I wanted a beer in high school but was unable to obtain one due to the law.

In a nut shell, how about you just STFU?
