PS3 GRAW fronts up to 360 Version

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 has been doing the round on 360 for a while now. But the latest addition of the franchise has gone back to base, tooled up, and come out smelling of napalm for its PS3 debut.

Port = Use existing assests and existing code base and rewrite what is necessary to run on different system. Add system specific enhancements if time permits.

This is a port. But thats not a bad thing. It's a very well done and enhanced port.

PS3 owners are in for a treat. It is definately worth getting.

Graphic capabilities on a system don't change, so if the 360 has been out for 5 years and you just get one and pick up GoW...it's the same excellent experience that it was when it first came out.

Edit: Thanks, didn't know that, although the 360 version has those maps as a free download, don't get the weapons though that I know of. If they are better than the SCAR LCQC or M468-SD I am jealous.

Online kicks a$$ and the mics work great. I was up playing it the other night for 5 hours. Great game! I traded in RB6:V and got this game and I have to say it was well worth it. RB6 doesn't hold a candle to this game.

Does Graw2 even use the same engine as RB6:V ? RB6V runs Unreal Engine 3, does Graw2 as well ?
It was at least said, that the Graw2 PS3 team didn't port the 360 engine but was writing it from scratch. RB6V was a port, Graw2 is not.

Those games are designed for shooter pads like the Xbox controller the PS3 controller is the worst pad for a top shooter like UT3.

The REAL console version will be released on the Xbox 360.

But I can tell you this much the 360 version wont be out 6months later...

Numerous previews have all stated that HAZE controls surprisingly smooth and efficient for being on the PS3 pad, and Unreal Tournament III supports mouse and keyboard on the PS3 therefore eliminating this game from the argument altogether.

The triggers on the PS3 are horrible, the sticks are way too lose and it just feels bad.

I played and completed Ninja Gaiden Sigma which was fine but you dont feel how the game really is supposed to feel without rumble.

Once you put a 360 pad in your hands it feels perfect and shooters and racers feel perfect for console gaming.

I am not a fanboy I just have more preference to the 360 as Microsoft have launched a very successful GAMES CONSOLE.

XBox360 controllers are quite uncomfortable at least they are to me. Perhaps because the style of the PS controller hasn't change, and I've never had a problem with playing FPS games using such.

Both have problems though...

360 pad has a poorly implemented D-Pad and is a bulky clone of the Dual Shock with the D-pad and left stick switched out.

PS3 pad has to be finger-tip gripped, has slippery triggers L2/R2, and has no rumble.

MS and SONY copied from each other along the way. Shoulder buttons for the 360 and L2/R2 converted from buttons to triggers for the PS3.

I just finished Resident Evil 4 again playing on my PS3 upconverted. Old game, yes. Good game, yes. Point is, thanks Ubi for worthwhile port. Keep it up. GRAW3 is welcome of course but not everyone has a 360 or has played a GRAW game.

This quote doesn't even exist in the article. Where does it say new co-op modes, loads of new multiplayer maps? Also, the title does not match the source. I don't know why someone has to make stuff up in order to try and pump up this game like it's better on the PS3.

It is very tacticle, not like Halo type games. Everyone's camera is the same speed, you can third person a wall, if you shoot someone their health doesn't come back, so even if you get killed by someone and wound them in the process at least you know someone else will have an easy time takin them out.

If thats your cup of tea then pick it up definatly.

Take it from someone that had both a 360 and a PS3, no need for these rigged screenshot comparisons for me, I could see the SUPERIOR graphics of the PS3 from day one. So much so that I never looked at the 360 the same after that. I traded it in about two months ago. Haven't missed it for a second. PS3 provides a superior experience in every way.

The only 360 had was more people on live and a better communication system. But even then, you meet a few decent people and A WHOLE BUNCH OF FREAKING RETARDS WITH POTTY MOUTHS AND A RACIAL PROBLEM.
