Terminator Vs. Violence…in the Supreme Court

Joycelin Arnold from GOS talks about the Supreme Court hearing against violent video game: "Aside from the political side of things and more toward the gaming (as if there’s a difference these days), people don’t realize what impact this proposal could have. The people going along with it don’t realize that it will become a snowball effect and, over time, this “proposal” will begin censoring the work of artist in every medium, not just video games. This would cause our beautiful world of innovation to disappear and everything becomes a generic copy that’s been regurgitated to seem different because of a fear of being persecuted. Correct me if I’m wrong, but that sounds a lot like a certain government system that we aren’t too fond of. Oh that’s right, it is."

So... they're thinking of legalizing Cannabis use in Cali, but they want to ban Video Games because it's "Harmful" to kids...

Kids can get weed easier if its legal, and will hurt them more than games...

The marijuana legalization proposition was handily defeated, the same will become of this proposed legislation.

By the way, the bill does not ban video games; it makes the sale of M-rated video games to minors a punishable offense. It's nowhere near the end of the world...
