ThumbPad : Fallout New Vegas Review

I remember sitting down at my fathers PC back in 1997 as a nine year old and playing the original Fallout. I was blown away, it has a fresh and new concept at the time, and brilliant writing and the isometric view point suited the game perfectly, I've played through both Fallout 1 & 2 several times since then as well, they they still stand up today. Fast forward thirteen years and another five games in the franchise and here I am, sitting on my couch playing Fallout: New Vegas. Fallout 3 took the series in a new direction with a new developer, and as a stand alone game was fantastic, but as a Fallout game, it felt lacking as if it there were some crucial elements missing. When I learnt about this spin off game I was slightly uneasy, until I heard who the developers where, Obsidian Entertainment. Knowing that this series was back in the hands of a number of the developers who created the first two games I was very excited to have this game in my hands.
