X07: Assassin's Creed Hands-on

Ars Technica's Frank Caron writes:
"There have been very few times in my career where I've been offered a controller and felt nearly dizzy with giddiness that had to be outwardly suppressed. I'm usually pretty good at keeping a straight face. However, when Ubisoft's Mathieu Mazerolle smiled at me and handed me the controller after my private demo of Assassin's Creed, I had to fight tooth and nail to contain myself."

Assassin's Creed another great game that I can hardly wait for. The crowd mechaism looks nice, wish I was at X07.

I thought there was not going to be a x07 this year and why not have a bringing it home on xbox live?

I think they are showing the same stuff they've been beating to death since launch.. No new first party IP's and nothing unique to the 360 that you can't get on the PS3 or PC.

They don't have much to "Bring Home" because nothing has changed since E3. It's a shame really, but once the PS3 overtakes it in hardware sales they might become aggresive again.

as I said before, it seems the more they show this game the better it looks. Which is to be expected, I don't know why it received such negative press for glitches. I guess Ubi should have made a "glitch disclaimer" before they demoed the game

Anywho, looks good to me, Should be even better with all the coming tweaks that need to be done

I can not wait for this game to arrive. Assassin's Creed made me sit up and take notice well over a year ago when it was announced as a PS3 only title, and believe me, I was pi$$ed! Absolutely can not wait for this game and for Half-Life: Orange Box to arrive. I truly hope that AC comes close to living up to the hype and expectations that so many of us have for it...if it does, what a wonderful treat for gamers on both consoles!
