Following last year’s successful Puzzler World, Ubisoft and Team 3 Games have collaborated with the UK’s popular Puzzler periodical to deliver a sequel, Puzzler World 2011. Available now for Nintendo DS and featuring more than a twelve hundred new puzzles, Puzzler World 2011 is obviously designed to be the perfect accompaniment to the likes of Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? and 42 All-Time Classics, but as many previous titles have proved, such company can be equally harmful as it is a blessing.
Pocket Gamer - It seems as if the Puzzler magazine brand is setting itself up for the long haul on DS. This third entry in the series is the first to sport a year in its title, suggesting that FIFA-esque yearly updates are inevitable.
That puts developer Team 3 Games in a somewhat unenviable position. Previous entries in the Puzzler pantheon have been fairly standard number and picture-a-thons – hardly the stuff creative developers dreams are made of.
Forget curling up on the couch with a cuppa, this winter it’s all about curling up with Puzzler. Developed by Ideas Pad under license from Puzzler Media Ltd, and published and distributed by Ubisoft, Puzzler World 2011 is now available for Nintendo DS.
I wouldn’t use the word boring. I think it's actually quite entertaining. Have you given it a go?? I sometimes play it on my way to work morning and on the way home – it’s great for keeping your mind active!
