Blow on Braid's epilogue, story interpretation and the mysterious cloud explained

Jonathan Blow has explained the rationale behind some of Braid's epilogue and story.

The creator of the indie platformer talked about the game's closing chapter during a director commentary session at Nottingham's GameCity festival.

Blow said that the design of the epilogue was meant to show that the world was "falling apart" and explained why the text books were hidden from the player.

He also discussed the meaning of the stationary cloud next to the epilogue's castle and interpreting the game's story.
