Another fighter game using the MOVE?
The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed that Noritaka Funamizu, a former Capcom developer who was behind projects like 2D Street Fighter titles is currently hard at work, developing a yet-to-be-announced PS Move- compatible videogame. “I’m actually working on a PS Move game at the moment,” Funamizu was quoted as saying. “The title hasn’t been announced yet, though, so don’t ask me for too many game details right now. The Move doesn’t seem like all that useful a device at first glance, but paired with the tilt sensor it’s got inside, it’s a very well-done motion controller — you can make controls feel very precise with it.” Funamizu had joined Capcom in the early 1980s and quickly became one of their main producers of Arcade games. He is known for his work on Street Fighter II, 1943 and U.N Squadron. His recent works included, PS2 Monster Hunters, Gamecube title, The Legend of Zelda: A link to the Past & 4 Swords. He left Capcom in 2004 to form his own company, Crafts & Meister and they are currently developing an Wii action RPG, Earth Seeker. It would be interesting to see what they have in store for the PS Move. If I have his resume I will be one of the most fulfilled man in history.
