Call of Duty 4 Beta Invites for all who signed up

Infinity Ward said they'd take care of everyone after the server crash fiasco yesterday. Today, they lived up to that promise. Everyone who signed up during the 24 hour beta yesterday will receive a beta token.

Taken from IW developer, Fourzerotwo's blog:

"I told you that we'd take care of the community, and I'm happy to say we were able to live up to that promise. Everyone who signed up for a chance at the beta via the 24-hour Beta Sign-up, WILL be getting a token!" (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Xbox 360)

So...
They're sending out notifications that you got in, then the tokens later?
SuperSaiyan4  +   2744d ago
Wait a sec...
So are they finally letting everyone who signed up to their forums in on the beta? This has been the worst beta ever soo far!! Its a total shambles!

umm yeah..
is been the worst? you obviously haven't been a part of many beta's i've been a part of some bad ones.

The server crashed because the game is so popular that millions tried to sign up, And because it crashed they changed the rules so that any one that signed up for the beta gets an invite.

No what I meant was...
As in all this stuff - sign up, then answer questions then like its for USA only then wait and wait just feel as though have been messed around a bit.

Got my token at 6am GMT and I am currently downloading :) see you guys in there!!!

I really don't see
why they go through all the trouble. Just release the demo and if microsofts server's can't keep up with the demand, well, it's not IW's fault for releasing a kickass game.

anyone else get theirs yet? i haven't received my e-mail notification yet for the beta (it is currently 7:30am central time)

I got my token about 15 minutes ago
BrainDrain  +   2744d ago
They said they would be sending the emails out in waves. Basically so many a day so everyone isnt trying to download the game at one time.
DrRage77  +   2744d ago
makes sense. i just went to the website and it says they will be notifying people within the span of 72 hours, so i guess i have to sit here and be patient......grrrr!! lol

Holy Crap
This beta is fun. I can't wait for 11/5. I didn't have high hopes being that this is still "beta", but this game is nearly flawlwess.
The last Multiplayer beta I participated in was Killzone and that was a freakin' disaster.
