Eurogamer Portugal published a gameplay video from Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Xbox 360 demo.
Played demo, it's meh. And I love me some Burnout.
Just as I thought. All you NFS fanboys should've listened to me a couple of months ago. Just give us another Burnout with a cops n' robbers gameplay mode.
Since you already played the demo can you tell me if the demo has a multiplayer race to try against my buds or is it just single player?
Seems to be an average game to me. Played the demo and meh too.
yeah i was gonna say it looks pretty good actually. and it's Criterion so i know gameplay is there. may be lacking a few features, but i think it's a solid buy. guess i'll find out when i hit the demo up later today
and where are you guys playing demo at?? if pc demo is cancel?? for some strange reason on the day it suppose to be released TODAY oct. 26th
The game needs ramps and explosions where are they?
PSN?? DONT WANT TO USE UP ALL my bubbles to get a answer is it on PSN??
Its not on PSN yet. It should be available with todays PSN update hopefully. @Troy Why dont you like me?
It will be tonight. :) Edit: steve30x - Oh...I don't like you!
There will be no PC demo
I know exactly what you mean and Criterion has nobody to blame but themselves to blame for not supplying a proper demo.
Be sure to buy a copy if you liked the "demo" sir.
The roads are too open and strait, needs to be more like the old NFS games with windy twisty roads & up big mountains and stuff
The original Hot Pursuit had long straight open roads too.
Yeah you gotta have some strait roads, but all the time like in this one.
STEVE30X i'll take that chance losing my OTHER OS to firmware up-grade to my phat 60gb ps3 im really interested seeing what criterion did to my favorite racing game outside of GT
Best Need for Speed in a long time, in my opinion. Shift wasn't bad but wasn't a Need for Speed game either, it was like a Forza/GT wanna be. Need for Speed isn't a racing sim for crying out load! And Undercover, Pro Street, and Carbon just, well...sucked.
I have this paid off and everything so hopefully I like the demo, if not, it's going towards Killzone 3. The above comments are making me a little worried about the game.
I would put it towards Killzone 3, if I were you. Just saying.
Yeah, I'll see what I think of the demo when they release it on the PSN. If I love it, I'll keep my pre-order. I'm going to EB Games today to pre-order Killzone 3 anyways. I loved Burnout Paradise and seeing that it's Criterion as well, I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I haven't really enjoyed a Need For Speed game since Most Wanted on the original Xbox.
But the video looks really cool. I hope the demo has a MP race. come on PSN update!!1
i realy liked the demo and i´m ready to buy the full version yes, you can tell that criterion packed a good amount of the burnout flavour into it...but i had a good time playing it too bad that the autolog doesn´t work in the demo at this moment (managed to get a 1:05ish time in the cop mode) but other than that..i have not much to complain about.
After testing the demo this is a def. buy for my part but i think i will get it for PS3
dude u only had a chance to play as a cop, i bet it will be more fun to be the racer, u guys are taking it way to serious for a demo, i mean come on its criterion its gonna be an awesome game, and they dont want you to try everything in a demo, they want u to have a taste as to wat is coming in nov.
