Popcap has just tweeted a new trailer showing off some new additions to the DS version of the ever so addicting Plants vs. Zombies.
Everything you know and love about the previous versions is still in tact. The game will have all of the additions from the Xbox Live Arcade port which includes multiplayer. Play as the plants or the zombies in versus mode.
The game will have new mini-games including Homerun Derby, Air Raid (shoot ‘em up style battle), and a level with only bomb type plants.
After seeing footage on the DS, this may be the weakest version to date. Graphics, complexity and amount of zombies on the screen at once seems to be turned down. That being said, I can’t believe I am going to play this game for the 5th time! I’m a sucker for this game!
