"Spawn Kill Staff Picks are back, and this time we’re looking at our favorite downloadable PC games. For this list, we only considered games that are either available only via digital distribution (whether it be Steam, a developer’s website, etc.) or games that were originally only available via this method even if they were later released at retail. As always with these lists, it can be hard to pick just one favorite, so obviously not everything could make the cut. This list includes the gambit from mods-turned full games, to casual games, to obscure indie titles and everything in between. Feel free to sound off in the comments about what your favorites are – and you don’t have to be limited to just one choice!"
Poor reception hasn't killed this series. A document released this week by the EU Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), confirming projects it plans to help fund in 2018, has revealed that a number of indie studios are working on new games.
Come for a stroll down memory lane as thrax from GameOverMan reminisces about some classic Valve gaming moments.
Player 2 takes on both Vanquish and Alien Swarm in this week's Player 2 Plays.
Incredible game still own original PS3 version, would love to see full blown sequel on PS4 or SWITCH.
Alien Swarm no contest!
Almost of all those games are amazing - I HAVE to try Cave Story some day, everyone always talks about it.
PvZ's an obvious great choice and I've heard good things about Recettear too. I have Trine and Alien Swarm sitting unplayed in my Steam account still... *sigh*
Diner Dash?!
Any game is technically downloadable if you know what I mean. ~_~
