odd that most of the companions prefer melee. it would be cool if the robot/dog could shoot lasers or something.
i went through the whole story in fallout 3 and played some expansions and never got a single follower. it just never came up or i must have killed or let them get killed..
it would be nice to have a follower this time.
one thing that gets to me is the faction system in new vegas. i hate being attacked when i fast travel to a location because i'm wearing the wrong outfit. yeah i should check that before i travel but i don't think about it often enough. i'd prefer it if they just went off of your actions and maybe you would lose charisma or whatever like in fallout 3.
