MonkeyPaw Games Inc., in partnership with Gaijinworks, has announced that they have released the classic RPGs Alundra and Arc the Lad onto the PlayStation Network. Longtime fans of the fantasy-based Role Playing Games have been clamouring for a re-release for over a decade, and gamers will finally be able to relive the memorable experiences these games created when they were first released.
Take a look at some PS1 game prices that have really taken off over the past 2 years. Some are trending much higher, but a few have dipped recently and it might be your last shot to get them into your collection affordably.
The world of the upcoming mobile Arc The Lad JRPG by Sony's ForwardWorks definitely feels familiar, depicting many locations from the old games.
Sony Interactive Entertainment's mobile arm Forwardworks is set to unveil the new Arc The Lad mobile JRPG at the end of this month.
I wish Sony were able to maintain a considerable amount of their RPG franchises
Hopefully Legend of Dragoon will see a sequel next too. As for this news it is about time a new one was made and I welcome it. If it does well one can only hope a real console game will be next.
I would love to see new sequels or remakes of these dormant classic franchise/series be bought back to Playstation.
Heavenly Sword, The Legend of Dragoon, Suikoden, Dino Crisis, Parasite Eve. Onimusha, Tenchu, Wild Arms, Breath of Fire, Valkyrie Profile, Lunar, Earthbound, Vagrant Story, Chrono Cross/Trigger, Grandia, Jade Cocoon, Resistance, Shadow Hearts. Dark Cloud, Legend of Legaia, Omega Boost, Einhander, Nightmare Creatures, Brave Fencer Musashi, Saga Frontier, Soul Reaver, Dark Cloud, Clock Tower, Twisted Metal, Ape Escape & Tomba.
These are two great games. well, one great game and one OK game. Arc *2* is where the fun is in that series.
