Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 | Review

"It’s clear from the off that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 has been developed with its fanbase solely in mind, and if – like me – you’re unfamiliar with this particular slice of manga/anime, you may find the tale of a young boy’s journey to become the Ultimate Ninja, (or as it’s known in the context of the story, a Hokage), more than a little daunting."

Is there any powering up and screaming in this game?

LoVeRSaMa2862d ago

There is, not as much as DBZ.

I like the screaming ;D

While the comment is often applicable to DBZ, Naruto became a frequent offender as well, especially midway through Shippuden. I stopped watching after like 80 episodes; the wheels were turning, but it wasn't going anywhere.

Manga > Anime - I mean the anime is fun to watch but it just becomes silly. I think I stopped watching around the same time you did or maybe a bit sooner before switching just to the manga.

Don't have the game yet, will do next week, but I know there are going to be some screaming parts but will "make sense?" like when Naruto went 4 tail on Oro.

You lasted that long?
I think I was about 15 episodes in before I told a friend, "man, I can't watch this show anymore. Half the show it's talking about flashbacks."

He then told me, "Man, they got a comic out. They cut out all that crap."

So I read the comic.
And profited. It takes all of 7 minutes to get through an "episode."

So I read the comics rather than watch the shows.

But, to be on topic, I can't wait for tommorow! The first one was an awesome fighting game, that got me interested in the series in the first place!

I hear you guys. Most of the time they do that so that show doesn't take over the actual source material (the manga). Whenever they get dangerously close, expect to see some new story side quest, or some dumb down version of the series rear it's ugly head.

As for the scream - there is screaming but surely not as much as DBZ. You don't have control over it like in DBZ - and they are more particular to super moves/quick time events.

I dunno, I can understand the hating the fillers(i skip them) and the first 50 or so episodes of shippuden. The first 50 eps move WAY to slow/ it take too long for people to talk and thre is constant stareing at each other to waste time, it's goten back on tract now though the quality is quite good when it hits the Hidan and Kakuzu arc. Except for Kyuubi versus pein. That was stupid/
